Come join us!
Do you love to sing? We would like to meet you!
Men of all ages are welcome to come and visit any Tuesday night, where you will find plenty of good music and fellowship. Wives and significant others are also welcome. While a plus, you don’t need to be able to read music. The Chapter provides sheet music and audio tracks to help you learn our music. The Chapter also provides vocal training, and any other assistance needed for you to succeed as a singer. If you like what you see and hear, we invite you to audition for the chorus. This process begins when you ask your section leader or the director to set up your vocal audition.
Before you audition, you will be provided a CD and some music with some simple songs that can be used in preparation for your audition. The audition is broken into two parts, the voice analysis and the quartet audition.
We are a dues-paying organization and these dues provide for the operational needs of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), the Far Western District (FWD), and our chapter.
As a new member, you will receive an official membership card, various orientation materials, a lapel pin, and three publications. "The Harmonizer" is the official BHS magazine, "Westunes" is the official FWD publication, and the “Gaslight Glow” is our weekly chapter newsletter. You will also be given access to the "Gaslight Chorus Members" area of our chapter website.
If you have questions about the membership process, ask our Chapter Secretary. He will be happy to assist you.
We meet at 7:00 PM in the choir room on the north side of the main campus of the:
First Evangelical Free Church
2801 N. Brea Blvd.

Significant others are welcome anytime.
