Matt Ordaz to Direct The Gaslight Chorus

  posted on Oct 29, 2019

The Brea Chapter is fortunate to have a depth of musical talent at the helm.  We are pleased to announce that Matt Ordaz has been selected as Director for The Gaslight Chorus.  Matt began his barbershop career at 8 years old with the Whittier Choralaires.  With all these years of “musical education” in the Society, it is no surprise that Matt is an accomplished vocalist who can sing all four parts.  Further, Matt completed a Bachelors’ degree (Biola University) and a Masters’ degree (Cal State University Fullerton) in Percussion Performance, so The Gaslight Chorus is about to find rhythm!  Matt is a quartet man and a chorus singer, having achieved two 4th place finishes with his quartet on the District stage and a gold medal with The Masters of Harmony on the International stage.  The Gaslight Chorus is excited to continue its journey of musical excellence with Matt Ordaz as Director and looks forward to many rewarding years of performance and competition.
